Green Outdoors Inc (Since 2015), originally Tinker Lawn and Landscape, is entering our 18th year in business in the Kansas City metro.  Evan Tinker and Ryan Tinker, founders of Tinker Lawn and Landscape, started mowing neighborhood yards in 1999.  Once they were able to obtain a driver’s license, company growth was possible in other neighborhoods.  Growth occurred fast and Robbie Tinker (brother) and Luke Young (cousin) were hired on in 2003.  The family business was beginning to grow into something bigger, and was officially established in 2007.

Robbie and Luke continued to work for Tinker through their time at Kansas State University. Robbie obtainined a degree in Construction Science and Luke now holds a degree in Turf and Landscape Management.

​In 2015, Evan and Robbie had other opportunities and decided to sell the business.  Luke purchased it and kept the family tradition alive. In May, he hired his brother, Bobby Young, after his graduation from Kansas State University. Bobby studied Landscape Design and Management.

​With Bobby handling the landscape side of the business and Luke being able to focus on the turf portion of the business in 2015, the company improved customers’ experience and built stronger relationships with our clients. The company’s goal is to enhance the clients outdoor experience.
